Sie wurde zwischen 1956 und 1959 nach den\u00a0Pl\u00e4nen von Helmut Striffler erbaut und fand weltweit Beachtung.<br \/>\nBeim Ideen-Wettbewerb der ev. Kirche f\u00fcr eine Nutzung der Beton-Kirche hat sich die Fach-Jury\u00a0mit gro\u00dfer Mehrheit f\u00fcr das Konzept \u201eEinTanzHaus\u201c entschieden. F\u00fcr die Umsetzung des\u00a0EinTanzHauses sind im Kirchenraum lediglich behutsame Umbauma\u00dfnahmen notwendig, so dass\u00a0die Kirche jederzeit wieder in den urspr\u00fcnglichen Zustand versetzt werden kann. Es wird ein\u00a0Kubus als Garderobe in den Altarbereich eingebracht. Das Kirchenschiff beherbergt die B\u00fchne\u00a0mit Tanzboden. Unter der Empore wird eine Bar eingebaut. Die Erneuerung der\u00a0Elektroinstallation gem\u00e4\u00df den Anforderungen des Auftraggebers und des Zwischennutzers\u00a0wurden umgesetzt. Neben der allgemeinen Elektroinstallation, wurden B\u00fchnenverkabelung und\u00a0Sicherheitsbeleuchtung installiert. Dabei wurde auf die denkmalgesch\u00fctzte Substanz des\u00a0Geb\u00e4udes besonders R\u00fccksicht genommen.
